Upon arrival, every colonist would be inscribed in a registration record and was given a registration number. Some of the registers contain a description of the physical characteristics of a colonist. There were different registers for each type of colonist. Not every person that was involved in the Colonies of Benevolence can be found by using the search tool on the homepage.
